Feature-rich data visualizations with a flexible charting tool

Chart ModelKit™ is the first chart component with a built-in WYSIWYG designer and advanced data binding model.

The product is designed for work in .NET Win Forms and ASP.NET Web Forms and provides a comprehensive set of 2D charts allowing developers to realize data visual presentation in various applications. Chart ModelKit™ not only offers advanced charts customization capabilities but also makes the process of charts adjustment intuitive and less time-consuming.

A full-featured WYSIWYG designer allows the selection of any on-screen chart element with a mouse click and gain access to its properties that can be interactively changed. The designer is available both at design-time and runtime.

The advance data binding model provides a unique set of capabilities for constructing charts without the need to code. Chart ModelKit™ allows working with all .NET data sources including ADO.NET, IList, and IListSource objects. It is possible to use multiple data sources in one chart. Hierarchical data sources can also be used. Every element of the upper level can be represented as a separate series built by the nested elements.

The unique object architecture of the product provides an ability to combine objects arbitrarily, allowing the creation of chart configurations that are difficult or impossible to build using other approaches. For example, an axis can include any quantity of labels, ticks, and so on. A chart can contain an arbitrary number of axes with various orientations and diverse series types in either a single or multiple chart. The library contains a comprehensive set of standard elements: axes, labels, legends, titles, etc and a set of available series types: Pie, Bar, Stacked Bar, Stacked100Bar, Spline, Line, Bubble, Area, Stacked Area, Stacked100Area, Stock, and Candle Stick.

The following export filters are available: SVG, Flash, BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF.

Chart ModelKit™ is included in the .NET ModelKit Suite™ and is a constituent of an integrated developer framework with similar design-time and runtime customization facilities, common data management and appearance customization methods. This provides easy integration with all components included in the package: Report Sharp-Shooter™, Instrumentation ModelKit™, and OLAP ModelKit™.
