Using FeinStuff

The FeinSoftware's FeinStuff comes in the standard msi installation package.

The first time you start your Visual Studio after installing FeinStuff, new toolbar will be created and "FeinStuff" submenu will be added to your "Tools" menu with the following commands (see screenshot above):

FeinWindows... - a replacement Window manager (see FeinWindows for details).

Build Project Only - a Studio 6 style fast build (no dependancy checking) of the selected project. The name of that project is displayed in the menu and as a tooltip for the toolbar button.

Clean Project Only - a Studio 6 style fast clean (no dependancy checking) of the selected project. The name of that project is displayed in the menu and as a tooltip for the toolbar button.

Switch .cpp /.h - Switch between header and implementation file.

Explorer - open Windows Explorer in the directory where active document is.

Command Prompt - open Command Prompt in the directory where active document is.

Collapse Solution - collapse the Solution explorer tree.

Keyboard Commands - view all Commands currently bound to some key combination

The following menu items are added to Visual Studio's context menus:

MDI Tab's menu - Switch, Explorer and Prompt.

Code Editor menu - Compile, Build, Clean and Switch.

Solution's menu - Build, Clean and Collapse.
